1. How does AI dial-in work?

It analyzes the brews and taste ratings you've logged for a given bean and method and recommends concrete parameter changes for your next brew (e.g. grind finer 2 clicks, raise temp to 94°C). The more you log, the more grounded and personal the suggestions become. Suggestions are guidance — always trust your own palate.

2. Can I use it without subscribing?

Yes. The full manual coffee journal — logging brews, the taste sliders, beans cellar, and history — is free forever. AI dial-in deltas, the palate model, vision bag-label scan, and freshness reminders are Pro.

3. How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; Pro stays usable until then.

4. Can I request a refund?

iOS: file at reportaproblem.apple.com. Android: open the order in Google Play. We honor Apple / Google's refund rules and do not double-charge.

5. Does BrewLog read my private data?

No. BrewLog has no advertising identifier (IDFA), no third-party ad or analytics SDKs, and no cross-app tracking. Your brewing data lives in your own row-level-security (owner-only) records on our backend, visible only to you. AI calls send only the brew parameters needed for that request (plus the bag-label photo when you scan); the data is not retained beyond the request and is not used to train models.

6. How do I delete my account?

In-app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion permanently and irreversibly erases your account and all associated data via a server-side cascade.
